Spent today getting everything checked and ready for the SVA test. Every nut has a nut cover fitted. |
The headlamp brackets are covered up along with the top ball joint nut, and the track rod end is covered with a cable gland. |
The rear bonnet catches are SVA friendly, the front ones are covered with some heater hose. The exhaust cut out had some U trim fitted. |
Hopefully the mirrors will pass (I am hoping to get some rubber boots to fit over the stems). |
Padded steering wheel centre is fitted and secure. |
Might need to fit some U trim over the exhaust bracket. |
Passenger side under dash padding riveted to the ally panel. Dash correctly padded and trimmed. |
Roll bar hopefully has enough bolts fitted, nut covers fitted to all the bolt heads. I have fitted bolts to the spare harness holes as I read somewhere that someone failed the SVA on that??? |
Rear lights and reflector, could be a fail because the reflector isn't vertical? |
Possible fail on the rear fog lamp not being vertical |
Again the reflector may let me down. |
Not sure if I need to pad the spare wheel carrier? I am making a padded vinyl spare wheel cover so that should sort the spare wheel out... |
Seat belt mount, with the correct bolts etc, and the plastic cover fitted. |
Under dash padding on the drivers side. Just need to get a lower steering column shroud from the scrappies. |
O/s mirror |
Side repeater, and mirror... |
Brake hose doesn't touch on full lock so I should be ok....
I am having the carbs set up next weekend on a rolling road, so hopefully once that's done I can apply for my SVA test!!
