I thought the handbrake would be an easy place to start today... Tiger supply a round bar that needs to be drilled out to fit the cables to. I decided that it would be alot easier and neater to use the sierra yoke. I drilled out the centre hole large enough to take the Tiger supplied cable locks, and then made 2 more holes. |
This shows the sierra yoke in place. The handbrake can be adjusted by pulling the centre cable through more or less and locking it off. |
This shows it all in place and working. |

The wiring loom fitment - Having read a lot of build sites about the Tiger supplied loom and how its too long etc I took my time routing it. The next few pictures show the routing of the rear loom. I started by the drivers side tunnel with the grommet on the loom facing upwards towards the dashboard area. |
The rear loom is attached along the tunnel top to the brake pipe with cable ties. |
The loom then goes behind the drivers seat back, along the top chassis rail and down the triangular chassis rail towards the diff. |
Making sure you leave the earth point out. |
All the wires go up the short upright except the number plate lamp wires which continue along the spare wheel carrier. |
The right hand rear lamp loom. |
The left hand rear lamp loom follows the chassis across and hangs down at the end. |
The fuel sender loom goes straight up the middle of the chassis. |
Whilst the fuel pump loom goes across towards the fuel pump... (Really?!) |
Front hub assembled and loosely fitted up. Going to have a problem here trying to set the toe in. Despite having cut at least six threads off the rack the track rod end doesn't screw in far enough. I reckon I will have to grind about 5-10mm off the track rod end, or cut some more thread on the tie rod. |
The passenger side rear seat back panel fitted. This was a pain in the a*"£ as none of the chassis rails line up. Still, a few rivets and a larger hammer later and it was in. |
