Tiger Open Day. Well, this is where it all started! Had originally gone to the open day to have a look at a couple of used (pre built) Tigers. Got there quite early though and despite there being 20+ cars there already I couldn't see the ones I was looking for. Got chatting to Sue who showed me around the different models and different spec's. Decided that it would be much more fun if I built the car myself! Couldn't have a test drive in a Cat as they didn't have one available but Sue said a friendly customer would be along soon who would take me out in his. |

The car on the left belonged to a chap called Nick. Tiger didn't have a Cat available on the open day for test drive so Nick kindly offered (was pushed by Sue maybe!) to give me a test drive in his car (as a passenger of course!). Nick's car is a std Cat, with a 2.0 pinto running twin Weber 40 DCOE's. The paint job and the cream interior really set this car apart from the rest! I can only hope mine turns out this good. |

Eventually managed to speak to Laura and agreed the price on the comprehensive kit, and placed my order. Was given 02/07/05 as my collection date, left the open day with a 'What have I done' feeling! Which was soon replaced by excitement and impatience! |
